Ken Schwaber returns to Sweden and Citerus in April 2008. This two-day workshop will give practical guidance to those trying to implement Scrum, with new tips for those trying to do this at an enterprise level.
Ken Schwaber and Citerus proudly invite the public to the two-day workshop Certified Scrum Master in Gothenburg, April 8-9, 2008. The fee for attending is SEK 16 000 (excluding taxes) and includes lunches, coffee and snacks.
Do not miss this opportunity to meet one of the co-developers of the Scrum process, and learn more about the challenges of Scrum, with extra attention on the challenges of implementing Scrum at the enterprise level. The number of seats for this class is limited, so please make sure to register in good time! Certified Scrum Master Agile development methods, such as Scrum, have been shown to produce improvements in speed, quality, and cost. However, the practices within Scrum, such as self-managing teams, are often so different from the norm at most enterprises and cause an organizational reaction. The productivity and quality benefits of Scrum pose a compelling reason to make such changes, though, and as Scrum crosses to the mainstream, executives need to know how to manage the necessary change processes. In addition, managers and employees alike want to know what the change means to them, personally. With case studies and exercises, this workshop gives managers, product owners and acting or beginning Scrum masters knowledge of how to implement Scrum, with focus on the special challenges of doing this in a larger enterprise. It also addresses the questions that newcomers have regarding process, interaction, reports, habits, trade-offs, and more. The participants will be vertified as Scrum Masters. Target audience Venue Citerus can help arrange accommodation at the location for participants; please contact info@citerus.se for more information. Ken Schwaber Citerus |
